My cousins and best friends were moving out of state.  They took early retirement and decided to move Atlanta, Georgia.  My cousins had enjoyed many vacations there and thought it would be the ideal place for them to retire to.  They found just the perfect home for themselves and were looking forward to the move.  The one problem they did have was how to find a suitable senior home in their new location for Aunt Sophie, my cousin’s mother.  She was living in an over fifty community here and they wanted to be able to place her in a community that would please her as much as where she is living now.  They knew the move would be hard for her and wanted to do everything they could to help with the transition.   They wanted to find a place in the same area as they would be moving to so they could see her often.  The checked out senior living in Decatur and found a full service retirement community located in the Atlanta suburb of Decatur, Georgia. Aunt Sophie would be close to her family and still have the peace of mind that comes with affordable living in her new retirement community.
