BEAUTIFUL COLORADO

Filed under: Blog — admin @ 11:41 am

We both loved Colorado.  Denver is nice and clean and livable.   It's when you get outside of the cities that things are really beautiful.  I forget who the singer was years ago that was always singing about Colorado, but he was right.  But the trip that started so nice was ruined by having to find a personal injury attorney in Colorado for the problems that happened.  It's a long story, nothing I can summarize in 200 words or so, but just as a start it happened when we were at the ski slope.  It's not what you think.  We weren't even skiing.  We were in the lodge and Sue slipped while crossing right in front of the registration desk.  Her leg folded up behind her and I could see a look of extreme pain on her face.  The lodge didn't call anybody right away.  Instead, some medical person on staff there insisted that she get up and move.  When she said that she couldn't then a couple of staff guys lifted her up and put her on a couch.  She was literally screaming in pain.  Everybody was looking around.  Then I saw the bulge in the leg of her pants. Sue had a compound fracture.  I didn't have my cell with me, but I kept asking the staff there to call 911, and nobody did.  I was really starting to get angry.
