BIG LUNCH
Jim and I decided to go to lunch, but I warned him that I had to make a call about a test strip thing I was working on. He looked confused. I told him it was for Tara. He looked even more confused. She didn't need any strips, was what Jim said. I tried to hedge and change the subject, but he kept going back to it. Finally, after the third time of Jim asking why Tara was interested in that, I told him. But just a little information. Jim has a hard time keeping anything to himself. He's a nice guy, but he just lets things slip. I talked with him a little before we reached the restaurant. Once we got inside I was hoping that he would forget what I had told him. I ordered and then he did. He had a big lunch, and he started talking about things at work, and he had forgotten about Tara's interest. Then, as we were getting the check, he thought of it again. Jim was not one to let things go. He kept asking and asking. I kept bringing the talk back to work. He was not biting. He wanted to know.
