CLEANING WEEKEND
I was pretty much at a loss as to what to do about our garage; year after year of collecting junk compounded by the fact that we never throw anything away has led to a pretty big mess. We went on a little errand run to pick up a couple things to maintain the garden and I accidentally stumbled into section full of home depot organizers. It was suddenly like all of my garage woes were now solvable. I saw just about everything we would need to get all of the junk up off of the floor and organized so we could once again be able to use the garage for what it was intended, to put our car in. There were hanging bike racks, wall mounted peg boards to organize hand tools and tall storage cabinets for paints and other chemical products. By spending a few hundred dollars and spending this weekend cleaning and organizing I’ll actually be able to get in and out of my car through the house, without having to subject myself to the elements – and when it comes time to do some work around the house, I’ll know exactly where each of the tools that I need is located.
