FACE VALUE

Filed under: Blog — admin @ 3:57 pm

Lately I've been hopeful about a cure for type 2 diabetes. I've been discussing it with my doctor and he's just as optimistic as I am. I'm definitely one who feels you shouldn't just accept a diagnosis at face value. I think people should really look at their health issues and determine if there's anything they can do to reverse or cure their situation. Sometimes I think people give up too easily. My doctor is really encouraging me to be proactive about my situation and get as involved as I possibly can. He's impressed that someone my age would challenge them and that's why I like having him as a doctor. Some doctors probably wouldn't like that or they might just tell you to take a bunch of pills and go away but mine isn't like that at all. He also recommended some books that I've been reading about people who are finding ways to heal. I'm noticing a common thread between myself and the people I'm reading about. I notice a big key for all of their healing has been the belief that they could. I'm really excited about the latest discoveries and I think I'm going to continue on this intriguing path I've found myself on!
