KNOW YOUR GOALS
I was once born into a home of poverty and constant bankruptcy. My parents, knowing their own failures, urged me not to be like them and to become someone who would pursue their goals and dreams and would be known to make a statement in the world. They always told me to be their shining star. Well, I ended up fulfilling their dream and I worked hard and graduated high school by the age of sixteen. College went by just as quickly, and before I knew it I was accepted into one of the top medical schools in New York. and some time after that I had my own clinic. I was a well known doctor, until the day that one of my old school friends decided to offer me a new, better paying job. Of course, blinded by the greed of money I readily accepted. I am ashamed to mention what job I was so willing to take and because of my spontaneous course of action I suffered greatly from its consequences. It turned out that in the end my friend cheated me out of my money and this was the cause for my eventual bankruptcy. I always wonder why life is so harsh but there’s always a lesson from a persons failures. Life is an experience, and from every mistake one does they learn from it and it’s because of their wrong actions that make them grow and mature into the person they are today. Always hold onto what you hold dear to yourself and never give up anything so readily without truly knowing what your absolute goal is in front of you.
