NOT A GOOD SURPRISE

Filed under: Blog — admin @ 11:14 am

Due to my salary I live a carefree and unchallenging life. I was never very wealthy as a child and I found it very lucky for me to become successful at such a young age. Although I am well aware of it, I spoil my only son immensely and I am constantly giving him whatever he asks of me. Because I know what it is like not to have a very easy life, I am still very cautious with my money and I am not a very big spender. One day I asked my friend if he knows of a place where I can take my son, and he told me that he came across something mentioning best priced tickets while reading an article about sports entertainment online. I set a date for the following Tuesday so that my son and I can go to the game without interfering with the busy schedule of my work. Up until that time I did not tell my son where we would be going so that it would end up being a surprise for him. When we got to the stadium my child was very unenthusiastic and he wasn’t interested in seeing men tackling one another and scoring touchdowns. I scolded my son when he complained that I was not a good enough father for taking him to such a lousy, uninteresting, and unentertaining game. He should really be more appreciative of everything and know that life will not always come so easy for him.
